  • Ferrari = show off

    Porsche = real sport car

  • Jeremy Clarkson is just a super biased Ferrari lover who can never admit a Porsche is a good car even when it beats a Ferrari right in front of him. The GT3RS is the best "driver's" car in the world. Ferrari doesn't even offer a manual anymore. WTF is that? The noise the non-turbo 6 makes is simply god-like.

  • Alright, everyone comparing this to Ferrari needs to shut the fuck up. They are both fantastic, and people calling Ferrari's "show-offs" are dipshits, considering that Ferrari is only as popular as it is, because it makes excellent cars. The Porsche is great too, also, don't say that Ferrari's don't make manuals anymore, because that is the only type of car they make, except with flappy paddle gear-boxes.

  • @blacksukhoi What makes you think Ferrari's have more driving aids? You can switch all the toys off as easy as opening the windows. And them only being held on by driving aids? I've read several racing driver's views but most recent is Randy Pobst on the 458: "I had all stability controls turned off, and this the kind of car where you can live without 'em". And if you think a GT2 RS is easier to drive than a GTO, that's really close to call.

  • @Buttnut105 Porsche GT cars (GT2, GT2 RS, GT3, GT3 RS) offered only in manual and they're only minimal driving aids offered, Traction Control and Stability Control. Porsche cars are still can be handled with all the system turned-off, but current Ferraris like the 458 and 599 GTO are almost can't be handled well with their complex system fully turned-off.

    This simply says that Porsche offers great mechanical dynamics but Ferrari driving dynamics really depends on electronic.

  • @Buttnut105 I didn't say that Ferrari never build great cars. They always do, in almost every models. But as most reviewers has stated, current Ferraris with paddleshifts are less enthusiastic, not like the great F40, F50, 575M just to mention a few.

  • I think the reason why we will probably never see Chris on Top Gear is because Top Gear is a show and this guy is a professional. We all love how biased Jeremy is cause its the part of the show whereas this guy is in a different league, he approaches this subject as a true professional. HUGE RESPECTS TO CHRIS HARRIS!

  • @blacksukhoi Well if Ferrari didn't build the great cars they build, I'd agree they're showy. But just because their cars have paddle shift boxes doesn't mean they're not driver's cars. a GT3 RS has just as much technology as the 458, you just don't realize it at times.

  • @nightmare1983 Of course Cayenne is not a sports car. But it is a real functioning SUV that can stand with Land Rovers on off-roads, but at the same time can go fast in tracks just like most sports cars while outrunning X5s, X6 Ms and Q7s.

    In motorsport, Ferrari performs well in F1 while Porsche performs really well in LeMans. But those Ferrari owners who can't drive with proper manual are true show-off fanboys.

    Porsche = true driver's car, all-rounder machine.

  • @Buttnut105 Orange wheels and huge decals are for hardcore and lightweight Porsches. Even if it is too much, the cars deserve it. Like this GT3 RS. Plus the massive wing is functional. What the Ferrari is showing off really means that those Ferrari (current models) owners are not true drivers. They only have lots of money, driving with paddleshift LOL. Porsche GT cars only offered with manual, less electronic driving assist which gives actual 'driving' experiences.

  • @okami11408 lololololololol, ye right.

  • @okami11408 Yeah because orange wheels, huge decals, and a massive wing isn't showing off. I love both but come on, they're apples to oranges.
