I loved that 15'4 jump. I put you and Tommy Marks as the two best technical jumpers around. I need to hook you up with a old freind of mine who lives in Dublin and jumped 17' 10" but he is no taller than 5'6" or 5'7"

he would be a great mentor.

ya man mike has a good point, i dont think you can really turn too soon, the sooner u can get to that point the better, just like he said remember to keep ur feet at like 12 or 1 oclock on the pole

by the way mike congrats on that 17 foot jump i saw some vid it looked pretty

thanx for the help if we weren't having video problems i would have had videos up i have talked to people and it seems like im doing alot right and a lot wrong i just work my butt off and will take any help i can get maybe by this weekend if we figure out how to upload videos from our dvd recorder

You can't really turn around the pole too soon, your problem is probably that when you turn you're droping your feet into the bar instead of rising straight up.

im 5'4 130 lbs jumping I my best jumps on a 14 foot 160 my best jump is around a 14'6 i will let u know after the meet this friday but please i need help on the top of the pole my timiing is off and my coach tells me i am trying to turn to soon and im rounding out the last pull to get off the top of the pole. If i can get the feeling of it i know i can do it but pointers would be great i work my but off and i watch videos all day just wanna be able to atleast meet the NCAA D3 Provisional
