Hanging Munchkin Scene Wizard of Oz

This is that scene that was rumoured about so much in past years, where a munchkin supposedly hung himself during the making of the Wizard of Oz and they didn't notice it as they produced the film and sold the final release to everyone. You will see something swing from a tree as the scarecrow trips.

The company edited it years later to make it a bird, rather than a munchkin... and oh yeah the techna color enhancement.

Just watch the orig, you will see the real munchkin.

I'm trying to figure out how anyone could mistake a straight horizontal motion for someone hanging themselves. Hanging is generally a very vertical sort of act... o_O I'd heard of it but had never seen it myself, now that I have I can't figure out how such a ridiculous rumor started in the first place.

It is a bird, lol. They got a big bird for the set that day. If you look really closely, the thing is horizontal, because the bird extended it's wing.
