Fluffernutter! A sundae for the food banks!

We've teamed up with our local Food Banks this month to build awareness for the needs within our Community.

Our Myrtle's Special Sundae this month, The Fluffernutter, is inspired by one of the non-perishable food items that the Food Banks desire most - Peanut Butter!

All month long, come to Fentons and order the Fluffernutter Sundae and 25% of the sale will go to the Alameda County Community Food Bank in Oakland and the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano in Vacaville.

We also are holding Food Drives at both stores, so please bring in your favorite non-perishable food item to donate! And if you are curious about what it is like to volunteer at the Food Bank, just ask! Many of our staff members have volunteered their time - Just yesterday Fentons Creamery's Vacaville employees and family sorted and packed items for distribution at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano's new warehouse in Fairfield! And, former Fentons staffer Nicole Johnston is now the Food Drive Coordinator for the ACCFB in Oakland where volunteeringis also very fun and rewarding!
