@Megatrousers You sir, are a twat. Anyone who groups music fans into genres is a narrow-minded imbecile. Music is about expression. I can listen to metallica smashing pumpkins, nirvana, drive-by truckers, the who, ac/dc, killswitch engaged, Led Zeppelin and pendulum in the same evening. I listen to whatever music fits the mood. Metal, Rock, Indie, genre's are a way to categorize and sell music. It does not define who or what I am, just what I enjoy listening to at any given moment.
