Marshall Ganz was a guest speaker at the federal New Democratic Party of Canada's biannual convention, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He presented ways to organize grass-root campaigns, using the Obama '08 election victory as the background for the speech. Talks about his early years of organizing in the Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi in the early 1960s, and organizing in Canada with the NDP leaders, Donald C.MacDonald and David Lewis.
