Squatting 225 for 52 reps. This isn't a 225 max. Before this I hit, 275 X 12, 285 X 12, and 300 X 8. I think I could hit 75 reps with 225 if I went in and did it fresh. No, I don't get tired, but now I can't stop my legs from shaking. Body Wt: 165. August 6th, 2009. Tallahassee, FL.   • This is normal. Pausing 15 times to rest. I'm sure anyone can hit it 50 times

  • to achieve that type of endurance how many times do you hit the squat rack a week?

  • who squats little weight for high reps thats how you get sterobalic muscle thats bigger than it is strong it builds mustle tissue ,it doesnt break it down and make it stronger,why dont you just do 10 solid reps of 325

  • I'm 46 years old. You call call bs on this but when I was 16 (2 months before my 17th birthday), I did 55 reps with 225; I weighed 160lbs. This was during a weight lifting competition and 5 of them didn't count, so I really only did 50. I did not stop for the first 45. I squeezed out the last 5 because 50 sounded like a nice round number. After I racked the bar, I couldn't lift my legs to walk. Somebody caught me as I was falling and it took 15 minutes before I could walk on my own.
