@SeattleRexx Yesterday was Tuesday. It snow lightly. But our employer decided to shut down early and sent everyone home because of the impending snow storm. We're not allowed come back until Thursday. I was pissed. I didn't get to finish out my shift. Driving on 405 and 167 in Seattle is a nightmare. Many people drive lightning fast. It's a race to get home. Other people drive too slow. They don't care if takes forever to get home. Snow drivers are fun to watch.

Unfortunately true.. We have two types of "snow" drivers... 1. Go so slow as to get stuck, or 2. Drive like hell at twice the limit so you DON'T get stuck!- either way, you'll get stuck. Oh well, it's fun to watch!

Yep, that's me. Lived on this hill for 20 plus years with Subaru and PEMCO insurance. When snow is forecast I stock up BEFORE the flakes fall. Have not been off the hill in 10 days from this latest storm. Been days since the newspaper or even the mail was delivered. BTW, the kitty litter is for the cat.
Lesson learned in a couple inches of snow in a March storm. Slid down the hill toward the main road in my 4 wheel drive Legacy Outback until I edgeded off the road into a tree stump.

Don't you understand!? SHE LIVES ON A HILL!
Having lived in the Puget Sound area for the last 15 years after growing up in Wyoming and Colorado, this ad is amazingly accurate (but no less funny!).

Ha! There is a threat of snow here in Seattle today - OMG! This is so true!!! Just the idea of snow makes people freak out! Cancel school, stock up on water, lock the doors, get out the canned foods - snow MAY be coming! Sheesh!
-
lol so Northwest. I realized after this that I do say to my bosses all the time "well you see I live on a hill!"

Yea, I had to find this again when snow hit Seattle last week. The city is full of freakout ladies...and men.

My mom is this lady! I sent her a link to this video, and she called me from home laughing because she left work early due to the snow. SHE LIVES ON A HILL!
After having lived in Seattle for 4 years now, I have become the first snowflake freakout guy, not because I don't know how to drive in snow (I'm from the Midwest where FEET isn't unusual), but because nobody else does, and I'd rather not get stuck in a 35 mile long bumper to bumper nightmare because some idiot from California doesn't know what snow is.

Holy cow this describes perfectly what the ladies at my office do whenever snow is mentioned in the forecast. Fantastic!
