@goldmosaic agreed. As long as the model he's put together can fit the currently observed phenomena as well as handle the new particles being "found" in Cern's LHC, he's still got his horse in the race. Otherwise he may have to try making E9.

Your theory, wasn't this found in the 70s? They even have a toy following the E8. Its a plastic sphere made of sticks. Tell me how many particles we yet have to discover?
