The FourtyFingersQuartet is playing the arrangement of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's (1809-1847) Overture "The Hebrides" (Fingal's Cave) op. 26 for two pianos/eight hands. This is a live recording from a final concert of the international chamber music course "Montepulciano/Heek 2008/2009" in Heek - Nienborg/Germany. Recorded on 7 August 2009.

Das "FourtyFingersQuartet" spielt die Bearbeitung von Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdys (1809-1847) Ouvertüre "Die Hebriden" (Fingalshöhle) op. 26 für zwei Klaviere/acht Hände. Dies ist eine Live - Aufnahme von dem Abschlusskonzert des Internationalen Kammermusikkurses "Montepulciano/Heek 2008/2009" in Heek - Nienborg/Deutschland. Aufgenommen am 7. August 2009.

  • It is wonderful to discover something new about a well known piece. Recently I came across 'Brian Wilson reimagines Gershwin' . It isn't better - just new.
