Truth is only valuable if it aids the individuals. If it is pernicious to individual growth and development, it is not worth acknowledging.

Hitchens actually got ruined by his brother Andrew Hitchens, a theist, it was quite remarkable. A really good debater can defend any position. Someone seeming to lose or win a debate doesn't really say as much about the positions they're defending as it does about the wit and intellect of the individuals involved.
