Forty Hours in Buffalo Wyoming ... a crisp photo slide show with original bluegrass music soundtrack . This is the Real West ... the best live music in Wyoming... and another stellar Thursday Night Jam Session at the the historic restored Occidental Hotel in downtown Buffalo Wyoming. The 4th anniversary weekly jam as photographed October 14, 2010 by Dewey Vanderhoff of Cody , Wyoming , on assignment for WyoFile, the leading independent nonprofit news group of the people, places, and policy issues in Wyoming . The photos in this slide show will make a lot more sense if you read the WyoFle article first . It's at:

I unequivocably agree with Dirtstiff915's comment... David Stewart has alot to do with the quality of the Jam at The Occidental. There have been lots of guest musicians just passing through who say, "I've been to many Jams but I've never been to one as good as this one- even in Nashville where there is music playing on every corner." They say the reason is, "No one is trying to perform. It's about having a great time with music and friends." BINGO! That's the secret!!!
