Flashback:
Kelly: You know we should buy different shades of blue paint for your room.
Nick: Why?
Kelly: Cause now were badass. And four shades of blue is badass.
Nick: Arent you supposed to meet whoever here soon
Kelly: Yeah and whoever has a name its Jonah and he happens to be in a band.
Nick: Yeah have fun with that
Kelly: Yeah I love you too
Nick: What?
Kelly: Not like that you weirdo!
Nicks Pov:
Why am I thinking of her? I havent seen her in forever shes probably moved on by now I mean shes probably not even here. I left my room because there were so many memories I didnt want to relive. I eventually left the house because it had her written all over it. I decided to go to the new starbucks for some peace. I walked in and there was the tired guy at the counter.
Guy: Hold on dude. My shifts about to end Im waiting on the new girl to get here.
Me: Okay.
Soon a girl came out of the back room with a hat on and talked to the guy and then he left. She lifted her head and I saw those eyes, that same disappearing smile.
Me: Hey.
Kelly: Go suck it Nick Jonas!
She turned around and left. Thats not what I expected. I walked outside and waited because she had to leave sooner or later. Soon the door opened it was her. She scoffed when she saw me.
Me: What was that all about?
Kelly: That was about how best friends dont tell each other their real feelings, promise not to forget each other, and then never call!
She started to run but her short legs didnt carry her far.
Me: Please just talk to me. Im sorry.
Kelly: Well good. Thats great but thats not going to change the fact that I waited for you to call everyday and when I realized you werent I tried to forget about you but dont forget you were my only friend so I was all alone while you dated everyone and had the perfect life. But now when Im happy you come back and ruin everything. But things have changed Nick!
Me: I wanted to call but I was so busy.
Kelly: But you had enough time to call every girl in Hollywood!
She stormed off and I didnt chase her this time. Id find her tomorrow.
