......this video is F***ed up. The song sounds like a joyful song (I have no idea what they are saying but it seems to be from some kids show), but people are dieing, and there is lots of blood. Whats so joyful about LOL

Haha, believe it or not, the song is from the movie. The movie walks a fine line between treating suicide seriously and playfully. Or at least, it appears to on the outside, but at its core it is an extremely serious film. Definitely see the movie!

@MoonlightSonata13 Indeed, the song lyrics are all about suicide. My translation of the first verse goes:

"Red berries are found and cheerfully eaten by the schoolgirls who vomit blood

An ashen visage with a decorated neck, swinging and blurring into the void

Able to progress toward the sacred light."

So, there's trademark Sono irony even without the imagery.

@peacefulinvasion The song isn't happy at all, sounds happy but I wouldn't consider it to be joyful. One of the kids is saying this "blue juice looks so yummy" and then "after drinking it the children cough out blood" I think Sion Sono wrote the song lol.
