I watched every one of his competitions during the olympics this year, and was riveted by his almost super human speed and aerodynamics. Gay or not, doesnt really change anything, im sure both sexes are crazy about him.

Michael's private life is his business, and best of luck to him. I don't think you can say a lot from his life so far because with his parents' divorce and his total dedication to swimming, then all the publicity, he may not have made much time for fun yet. Maybe he's still virgin, who knows? I just hope he gets some space now to mature and explore life and love with someone he cares about - female or male - without a camera in his face!

Regarding the rush treatment at the signing - been to many other signings.. this is standard protocol - they are trying to get as much done within a little time. Believe me, signings for celebrities are NOT fun, usually ends with hand cramps, blisters, and the talent usually feels pressured from the organizers
