Wouldn't it be boring if everybody did the same thing musically? There is no Gospel that must be obeyed.

I play a different version of this... As played by sandy mac intyre. I think it sounds better and it def should be slower on this one.

@whimsicalfishes @whimsicalfishes I'm sure your version sounds awesome! However, music is interpreted by the musician, and is ever changing. This version is played this way because she is a member of a band, and that's how the band plays it.
I sang "Time For Me To Fly" in Honky Tonk Angels. The version in my mind was REO Speedwagon's original, but the script called for Dolly Parton's much faster version. Kind of the same thing.

@whimsicalfishes Sorry for the multiple postings. I tried before, but could only split it up to get the comment to work.
Just play the music the way you feel it, not "someone else's" version. What if Macintyre had not been brave enough to play her own version?
