Just because YOU don't see or hear something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I actually hear the 40 year old virgin bit quite a lot. Though I will say I don't need to validate to myself or others that I'm a gamer either. I play games, that's that. You want to call me a gamer, whatever. You want to call me an asshole, whatever. And how are gender specific insults different from sexist insults? Doesn't that have to do with gender? I don't insult girls who play games but QQing doesn't help I'm sure.

that's kind of a moot point since the 40 year old virgin insult is usually what non-gamers say about male gamers. i've never heard an gamer say that shit to fellow gamer.

gender specific related insults are different. the majority of bullshit men say to female gamers is sexist as hell and wrong on a different level.

You should be used to it by now. It's just how the internet is. You don't need to assert the fact that you are just like the guys, because you ARE just like the guys on the internet. You are just some person to insult. Same goes for in real life. People are just douchebags. And who cares what some stranger thinks? Only person you have to answer to is yourself. I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but I don't really agree with much you said. Women get as much respect as men on the internet. We just get different insults. You are fat or ugly or whatever. And I'm a 40-50 yr old virgin living in my parents basement. Each gender gets their own insults. No one respects anyone on the internet. Apparently I have a lot to say. I respect you as an equal gamer. Anyone that doesn't is an ignorant prick. Next time someone messes with you get their address. Give it to me. My panda, it's because guys feel intimidated that a girl can be better than them or even just as good. It's a macho thing, a nerdy macho thing. Personally I respect a gamer as they are. If they suck, girl or not, I don't want them around, if they're good I give them props. I wouldn't get upset every time a bunch of idiots give you a hard time. Do what I do. I take a picture of my hairy ass and send it to them. They never message back or harass. So get a friend with a hairy ass and do that.
