More fools flaunting the by laws or perhaps they cannnot read the NO swimming, diving or jumping signs because they are illiterate. Not only very stupid but also very dangerous knowing full well what chemicals, junk & sewage lurks in the harbour waters. Also many congratulations on avoiding the non existant harbour security, you must be very proud. Keep up the good work guys because Health and Safety at Thanet Council will soon close the pier to all of us just because you are idiots.

Sorry Grandad, we should've consulted you and the rest of Thanet before we did something so childish. What were we thinking, we must've been acting like 16 year olds! The harbour security did come along and politely told us not to do that, but good effort on an almost joke there. Please understand that you may view jumping off a pier into sea water a reckless and stupid act, but people outside of your Daily Mail tabloid bubble, just find it a bit of harmless fun.

Ah well, the one we did it off, two security guards came over as soon as we got back up. So if you do it in Ramsgate, you'll probably only get one or two attempts.
