[Power Rangers Power-thon] Mighty Morphin Power Rangers SNES (Part 1)

The first installment in my Power Rangers Month Power Thon,the first game i'll do is the first Power Rangers Beat'em up Game for the Super Nintendo based on the first half of season 1 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,enjoy ^^

Similar to most beat'em up games like Double Dragon,Battletoads,Bad Dudes,Rushing Beat,Final Fight,ect.

I watched all of the Saban-era Power Rangers back when I was a kid up until Time Force and this is the game that I rented for my SNES which I used to owned. It's one of my favorite Beat 'Em Ups that I played until I got stuck to the last part where you have to fight the last boss in a Megazord.

Oh yeah,I remember getting to that part only once,and yes I agree,that is a bitch to beat X_X especially that final boss's last form,I mean it's like fighting chaos in sonic adventure 1 except way worst.

all of the disney era (with the exception of Dino thunder) had bad acting and horrible music and disney's revised version of season 1 was made even cheesier with those horrible 60's batman special effects.XD

lol. I love it when they recycle the exact same power ranger model and just change it's color. I guess the staff of the game never bothered to give Kimberly a skirt on her suit like in the series.

Interesting...I've never played a Power Ranger video game before (sorry, I know I'm a horrible person :P) so this is kinda new to me :) But it reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first Nintendo game...

I have the gameboy version of the game and genesis/mega drive fighting game

the game boy version is abit weird because not only you fighingt goldar and king spyynx, you also fighting squatt, babo and rita as the last boss

in the genesis/mega drive version i story mode you be fighting the minator, madam woe, tommy, goldar and cylopsis (SP). I love the ending were you use ultrazord and destroys rita's base.

I was a big fan of Saban-era Power Rangers back in the day (up until In Space) and this was one of the few games i bought (while i only rented the movie game). This was one of the few Beat 'Em Up games i actually enjoyed and was always worth replaying just for fun.
