Video of 2 of my favorite LED hoops to see how they compare in action. Unfortunately, my FIREFLY hoop's batteries were running really low and I didn't realize it until after I had posted the video. This hoop looks much better in the my GLOW SHOW video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-tsaZg4Kf0
RAINBOW HOOP
21 solid LEDs:
pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, UV purple
7/8" OD HDPE tube
AA 3.6V Li-Ion battery
STROBING FIREFLY HOOP (my batteries were low, so the color is not that great in this video. please check out my new video listed above for awesome Firefly color trails!!)
LEDs strobe when still, but leave multi colored travels when in motion.

i got em at valco & had to order in quantity. there are a few other places to get them. check out my site
HOOP-TRIX com if youre interested. theres a whole page there on how to make LED hoops, & where to get all the supplies. let me know if you have any more questions.

Did you ever make a led hoop with an aaa battery holder instead of an aa battery holder??

actually i tried, but most aaa batteries dont have enough power unless you use more than one, & i didnt want to do that. the ones that are powerful enough are too big to fit in a holder. & now ive moved on & have managed to make the hoops without battery holders allowing me to use smaller & lighter tube.
