  • Well ,I'm from Arkansas and that was said BACK THEN , and it wasn't considered racist . Of course Memphis maybe shouldn't have said it , but I'm sure he wasn't being racist , it's just a saying that kids use to say , you take something , then you give it back ( like make up your mind ). So I don't need to catch up to society , maybe you need to go back and check history and look this up . Memphis is from the south I think Mississppi or Tenn. so that's where he may have got that saying from.

  • makes sense, they do try to always make ppl fall for their own greed when it comes to vetos

  • I am 39 also. And from Oklahoma and living further south now. I really don't think any of my people or tribe would like to be called that. And if you said it back in the day then maybe you should catch up with society. It is no longer a correct thing to say.

  • I don't think Indian giver is a racial remark . When I was a kid ( I'm 39 ) , that what they would say back then , when someone give you something , then take it back . It's just a saying nothing racial about it . My grandmother is Native American and I don't take that as racist . It's like a southern slang , they say down South .

  • I bet whoever wins the luxury, won't be able to participate in the veto.
