With all the buzz of the 20channel PMR from Intek and the "unoffical" UHF CB Band here are another 2 radios to throw into the mix. Both make the 20 channels, both can be also semi-duplex and with the right inspiration can make 4watts.Test show from here at the moment, balcony to garden that 20 miles seems to be fine and well. Some mobile tests and from inside built up areas will follow. So sit, and take a look

  • hi simon you said you programmed the other radios to match up with the 5050.

can the 5050 be programmed ??

i have one and have yet to se how its done.

    a very nice radio

  • The Team can be programmed to replicate some of the Inteks channels, the simplex ones and not duplex. And no, Intek cannot be re-programmed other than what it comes with

  • Yes the Team PRO is basically the same as the Puxing, or the KYD and is sourced from almost the same place. Inside there is some Motorola branded chips too so thats a nice sign. In the 4w config the battery is a lot less to be desired but works well. New Video coming soon

  • All that I have done is to program the other radios with the opposite of the Intek and in that case the Semi-Duplex is working. And even with the voice scrambler and the signal being marginal now and then. Its ok with 11miles the Intek from the car.
