  • Keep it going Barack! Win or lose this election, you're a hero and an inspiration to all of us. Cornell West has been making some surprisingly ignorant, condesending comments about Barack for a long time. I hope Obama keeps his cool and doesn't let these idiots get to him.

  • hi i'm a german too :) based on impressions i got on youtube i would say that mr. obama is without doubt the most promising candidate so far. i like his sharp intellect, his new concepts and his ability to adjust to various environments. he could be the best president the usa ever had.

  • it's a good thing that Bush guy is gone:

April 6 (Bloomberg) -- The largest U.S. foreign aid program fighting the AIDS epidemic has cut the diseases death toll by 1.2 million from 2004 to 2007 in a dozen hard-hit African countries, researchers said.

The Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, started by President George W. Bush in 2003, lowered the AIDS death rate on average by 10.5 percent a year in those countries, said study author Eran Bendavid of Stanford University

  • If Bill Clinton was the 'first black president,' then this country is in sore shape. I wish Maya would never have said something that sad and ironic...

  • chris from germany: as a foreigner who loves america from my several trips to us and as a political interested person i say: obama could be a positive sign to the world when a black man would be president. i hope the americans see it the same way. why is the skin color a disadvantage? the best contender should win i think.

  • Ya my comment was ill worded your right. Sometimes I'm off my game. Barack is a good politician but he doesn't have the support he needs. He is only going to take votes away from Hilary. I hope that happens because I'm voting the smart way which is PRO WAR. We needed to show we have some fight in us so now our words mean much more.

It is unlikly we will be tested any time soon. Maybe if a weak president takes over.

  • Yes, but it's not OK to have a pun mistaken for a typo in "TEH LANDZ OV TYP0S (LOL)" (even though I'm guilty of them, too, on occasion -- just not in this case).

  • You also are great at distorting my original thought, and making it seem as if I were making a different point than I was actually making. That is called a straw dog. Read up on your logical fallacies and you would know what that is...

  • "2. When you claim not to be pimping Ron Paul, you're lying." Once again you are completely wrong here sir. Yes I bring his name up, but it's not at all becauce I support him. I think Huckabee, Romney, or Guliani would be much more suited for president. So you, my friend, should keep the inferences to yourself...

  • "America *isn't* simply a homogenous group of people." You actaully are correct on this point, friend. And it is ideologies such as yours to blame. America shut be one, and not divided up into ethnicities, as the civil rights movement said it should be, right?

  • It's Ok, I'm the king of typos anyway ;)
