  • william hickey voiced dr. finkelstein in The Nightmare Before Christmas.

  • this was made 12 years before he died in 1997 aged 69

  • This was a "real" acting scene by a couple of great actors on a soap.

  • wonderful voice

  • Bill was a very generous teacher. He allowed a lot of room for creativity and exploration. I was a key student on Friday nights during the 80's. He was a wonderful actor. When did "Prizzi's Honor " and " Da" the world got a chance to see how truly gifted he was!

    Thanks for posting this clip!

  • i love these long sensational scenes. i wish soapnet would have aired the shw in it's entirety and also air other old classic soaps

  • Bill was my teacher for 10 years and I was his assistant in classes on Monday nights, sometimes Fridays as well. He was very important to my life and I should write a book of my memories and his sayings and stories! We all should, all of us who knew him. In a real way, he was a second father to me.

    Susan Robinson

    Bill's Mon. Night Class Assistant

  • yes fantastic actor, but ive never seem to get over how slender he always was. so thin.

  • I have to scan some pics I took of him in the 80's in the classroom. They are really great because they capture the real Bill to a T.
