Would you clone your pet?

On Monday's show, Anderson meets Danielle from the TLC special, "I Cloned My Pet," who paid $50,000 to clone her beloved dog, Trouble -- so she could have "Double Trouble."

"It is not for everyone," says Danielle about her extreme measures to recreate her pet. "It was something that I wanted to do so it worked for me."

A "Trouble" wall mural? A "Trouble" bedspread? Check out this preview to see images from inside Danielle's home -- a practical shrine, showing off her love of "Trouble." Also, learn where Danielle went to create "Double Trouble"...

And what happens when this dog dies, can you clone a clone..it's not a xerox, lady. You can't make duplicates for 2 reasons 1) You're not god. 2)it's insane.

why clone and spend that much money when you can adopt and save a life. there are too many in shelters and many are being put down every day.

I think this is very sweet. I'm planning on cloning my doberman after she dies, though I'm not obsessed with her to the degree that this woman is with her dog, but I'm happy for her

Death is a very sad subject. Is there a living being that knows what happens to anyone after they die? Do they just rot in the ground? Do they go to Heaven? Does something else we don't know about happen? No one knows. This girl did what she thought was the right thing and I respect that. I love my two dogs very, very much. I would never clone them, but if she wanted to, so what? And yeah it's a clone but it's another beautiful life form just like the original pet. Hope she loves this one too.

You know, after using a surrogate dog to give this woman her puppy, it is sold back to the animal mill that it was originally bought from and then they kill the surrogate and eat the meat. Any of you still interested?
