I'm bengali, for the record. This is just a money making gimmick. This guy has embarresed and expolited bangladesh for his selfish greed. Bangladesh should be starting to move away from indias shadow not furhter into it.

guys,the rumour says dat he wantd to go india to visit the TajMahal, bt the indian high commision turned him down so he built it in his own land, yes the government of Bangladesh has nothing to do with it and cannot stop him completeing it. Though I agree it is a shit copy, the four pillars are too short and too fat. nothing like the original.
However the real Taj Mahal has no copyright so every one has a right to make it. bollywood copies all copyright holywood movies so whats the fuss about.

@proudindian123 I guess you're right, but this copy of TM is just not really a copy. He's scamming if he makes people pay for visiting under the pretence that it is anything like the TM, because it is obviously several times smaller than TM, and really looks nothing like it. What about the intricate writings and decorations of the original, and what's up with the garish and unstylish colours, completely unlike TM? It's nothing but a scale model, lacking in accuracy.
