Johnny brought out the new Thomas and Thomas "Red TNT" flyrods. These things are insanely nice, especially for our fishery. Johnny is one of the best casters I have ever fished and he helped design this rod. Wicked light, very fast and yet, it has a very beefy feel to the action. Serious fighting tool to boot. He had a new Danielson "dual action" reel on it. Sort of like an Anti Reverse reel but you can add extra drag by pushing the reel handle forward. nice not to have a knuckle-busting reel handle spinning wildly while these fish make a run.
Pretty sure we got over 30 fish in the boat. stupid. stupid. stupid.
