  • American Music is as much European as it is African and Native American...in fact, it was the basis to which Africans and others adhered in the forging of this new music...let us not be revisionists........it is the blending of cultures...and it is in music that true amerlioration succeeds....

  • Great comment, guy. I remember hearing this song a million times on WMMS back in the day. Always loved it, but never really knew who the artist was until I found it here on Youtube. Brings back memories. I'm thinking Bruce Springsteen and the New Jersey groups back then got inspiration from this artist.
