I checked the 'rentacoder' site, but that seems more for software than for ebooks...

I saw there's a site called 'rentaghostwriter' or something.... seems more into ebooks.

not sure about the mic in the ipod though since once you have recorded onto an ipod, Apple won't let you record from it anymore, in other words it's stuck on the ipod only with not chance of copying it for further distribution. MP3 recorders however will... or am I missing the plot?
