Here is what the composer writes about his music:

It seems that I have lived close to the sea all my life, although these were often different seas, such as the Adriatic, the Mediterranean or the Atlantic.
They all have much in common, all those beautiful waves and the breezes that they have been riding.
Waves fascinate me for they speak of where they had been, just before they washed ashore.
They sing of eternity and what they had witnessed as they travel through space and time.
Musically waves sound to me like human voices, singing, chatting, and arguing, at times interrupted by the peaceful lecture given by a passing seagull.

It was therefore quite natural for me to score the music for a traditional four-part chorus and piano.

Nature can be so inspiring!
