Mckenzie is one of my favorite working composers. His wonderfully romantic tendencies are second to none and his score here for the 1997 film "The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca" is perhaps one of his most tremendous, moving, sweeping and emotive scores of his career. If this excerpt ("Overture-For Love of a Poet") doesn't absolutely chill you, you don't have a soul. Or something like that. Just brilliant stuff.
