Occupation 101 Trailer
Movie clip from award-winning documentary film 'Occupation 101.' For more info or to purchase the DVD please visit: www.occupation101.com.

A thought-provoking and powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Unlike any other film ever produced on the conflict -- 'Occupation 101' presents a comprehensive analysis of the facts and hidden truths surrounding the never ending controversy and dispels many of its long-perceived myths and misconceptions.
The film also details life under Israeli military rule, the role of the United States in the conflict, and the major obstacles that stand in the way of a lasting and viable peace. The roots of the conflict are explained through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been suppressed in American media outlets.
The film covers a wide range of topics -- which include -- the first wave of Jewish immigration from Europe in the 1880's, the 1920 tensions, the 1948 war, the 1967 war, the first Intifada of 1987, the Oslo Peace Process, Settlement expansion, the role of the United States Government, the second Intifada of 2000, the separation barrier and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, as well as many heart wrenching testimonials from victims of this tragedy.

  • @Promecus imagine this. you are a 3rd generation being brought up in a refugee camp. all u know and see everyday is death. you hear stories about land your family once owned how you home was demolished. you see children dying everyday. Putting my self in that situation i would probably be strapped and ready to fight my oppressor . WTF would you do?

  • the problem with most people who don't support Israel is that they are driven not by logic, but by emotion.

  • @arabmoneylambo

All I can tell you is to look up what happened on May 15, 1948. Don't tell me what the facts are, I've done the research and any anti-Isreali propaganda won't work on me.

Now, before you tell me that I'm wrong, look it up for yourself. And while you're at it, read all 36 articles of the Hamas Charter.

  • @Promecus No my friend, there will not be peace, the very thought of Palestine surrendering is oppressing. And Palestine is not programing children to hate Israel, it is Israel that is programing them to hate israel! If your parents were killed infront of your own eyes by israeli soldiers you would have hatred for israel, so many children in palestine have lost their will to live. keep conducting yourself in the fashion and when you realize whats happening around this world, you wont like it.

  • Wow, what a load !!

    It's very simple.

    If Israel surrenders, they die.

If the Palestinians surrender, there will be peace.

Give it up already. This is not a matter of the big bad Israel picking on the Palestinians when the Palestinians PROGRAM their children to hate Isreal.

    Get a clue.

  • @ZedBe100 Wow. Good luck with that. Me being a peaceful American, I hope you stay poor and uneducated your whole life, with that attitude.

What have I done to you?

  • Pure anti-Semitic propaganda.

The Nazis succeeded with this sort of film prior to and during WWII.

It appears the Arab Islamists are trying the same tactics.

  • If I live to be a rich man. I will invest all my money in the distruction of AMERICA.

  • @MuchachowS999 Hmmm, I wonder why the poor Palestinians don't want to make peace with a bunch of liers. They crushed their homes, murded their entire family, and already took away their home from them. Who in the right mind would ever want to be neighboors with a bunch of people like that? Don't care anymore, but not caring just leads you to ignorance.
