Behind the Wheel Reviews had the chance to test drive Laura's Cobalt. We took it around downtown River Falls, WI and checked it for comfort, performance, and a number of other criteria. Keep an eye out for the Ford Fusion, coming soon.

  • I have a cobalt lt coupe, and my console in the middle folds all the way up vertical...so actually it doesn't get in the way of the brake. :)

  • yea, have noticed that since then. thanks though.

  • Really enjoyed a "less professional" review which basically says the same thing everytime. The mix of humor and serious elements were good. I'm a young kid and don't get why they are covering the engine bay in plastic when I want to do basic maint'.

I also can't believe the parking brake and console problem since I'd usually opt for a manual. Theres going to be alot of cash incentives to buy this car since GM is going down the tubes but I still don't know if it's going to be worth it.

  • you're welcome, we're taking the season off right now. it's cold in wisconsin. we're working on format and a few other issues in the videos to make them less repetative. we don't script anyting and there are a lot of cuts. you should see what i cut

  • How tall are you,DAMN?

  • Drake, where is Josh?

  • do all chevy coblts have the spoilers??

  • @Northwoods92 Yes! that's what I love about this car.

I drive a 5 speed LS, and I love to have good leg room for moving my foot to the clutch. The nice thing about the car is that the seats go back REALLY far (to the point where you cant have anyone in the seat behind it). I'm 6'2" and fit very, very comfortably. Much better than my old Isuzu

  • I'd love to get a 2006 Chevy Cobalt next year, and I'm wondering - I'm 6"4"...will I fit in this car. Obviously, I will be driving it.

  • does the sedan cobalt have better ride quality than the coupe bcs my dad just bought one and it doesnt go over bumps that good and even if it does its way too loud ?

  • I have this exact same year and model. But mines the LS 4dr. I have a video of it here on youtube. Check it out and lemme know what you think. It might "shift you into" 4th gear. Haha.

  • This is the most horrible review I have ever seen on youtube. I cant even believe that someone would have uploaded this. Save your self more embarrassment and remove this from youtube today.

  • i like driving cobalts because im 6'4" and the front seats move very far back, but in the back seat leg room is limited with the seats back, but if u move them forward a bit, u can fit 4 ppl in it with decent comfort. not great but i dont like driving with more than one other person at a time anyway so its a great car in my opinion
