How many times have the Denver news channels cried wolf whenever we get just a dusting of snow? And Kathy could've made it in Hollywood with that empathetic look of concern.

Sorry for the slight audio delay.

  • If 3 feet is a dusting, I'd like to know what's considered an aftermath of a blizzard...

  • I wrote that video description before those three feet came. The weather people on local channels here make such a big deal over just a single snowflake and provide wall to wall coverage on it most of the time, so I take it with a grain of salt when they say that we're going to get a "blizzard".

  • User mkintner has a video up with their rundown, new set, and their revamped opening that has been used since April 2011. The video is called "Channel 2 News WGRZ Flash Flooding on the Vandermark"

  • I think almost all of the Gannett stations use the rundown now (since WGRZ created it all the way back around 2003.) Interesting thing is that their rundown looks better than the ones used at their sister stations, and WGRZ is only in widescreen SD at this point.

  • @char615 imagine how it is here in alabama. like seriously. snow=the earth ending.

  • @WizardDuck Yes, because if you mean "got", you mean "steal". Just sayin' that ESPN's 80% ABC/Disney and 20% Hearst Television. So, it's "stolen".

  • @hkfreak Am I the only one who notices that Gannett got The Rundown from the daytime editions of SportsCenter?

  • @Mrtraveler01 It's not just here or there, I believe most of the Gannett stations is implementing The Rundown on their shows.

  • @hkfreak I hate the rundown too. KSDK uses it and it bugs the daylights out of me.

  • It would be called the Gannett News Music Package by Rampage Music New York.

  • WLTX is going HD Soon is about to aquire that Rundown Sidebar thing also. IDK I Like it.

  • One more thing, I hate the rundown. Most every Gannett station is using it right now. (I think an exception might be WLTX and WMAZ...) Some move it to the 16:9 sidebar, others which are still in SD stuff 1/2 the screen with this crap. It's annoying. I want to see the story, not decide when to tune in for a certain story I want to see.
