Why is it I see in the UK washing machines have heating elements? The hoover was the first one I noticed this. Since we commonly have hot water heating in the USA it would seem to only be an added expense in utility consumption. Not a green idea at all.

Hi, nice info, i cud repair my washer, its wash cycle was not working, pressure chamber blocked. cleared the block by blowing air thru mouth. wow! washer is working fine....
