@firefly241 every rational person agrees with you talking is the best way to solve problems but that's the whole point of what cenk is saying republicans are not rational any more they refuse to have a discussion with more hard unbiased data in it than talking points. Just look at fox "news" why else would each hosts say the same half truth or talking point on each issue after issue after issue with out any true opposition to that point, that has 2 brain cells if they wanted an honest dialogue.

I know more about the Patriot Act then probably anyone else posting on this thread. Why not post the fact that only 1 voted no on the re authorization of the Patriot Act in 2006. Barak Obama voted yes. Where I was going with my comment was that on a personal level for the majority of Americans it has little impact on our lives. Why won't anyone not even the young turks talk about the National Defense Force? That is where the true danger lies within the Patriot Act.

I do want to ask this guy, what right have you had taken away from you since 2001? Personally the only impact I have had, is because of the Patriot Act, I have had to wait an hour to get on a computer in a public library. Or the FBI can listen to my phone calls, by asking a Judge and that request being approved in hours instead of days prior to the Patriot Act. So again what right has been taken away from american citizens since 2001?
