  • if dollars is collpasing..and gold is the best investment. why those people who's selling gold.why they take the dollars???? what are they going to do with the paper dollars????

  • @herbs814

Very true and is worsening what could amount to the great American famine next year.

  • And governments are pushing industry to take the scarce food supply and burn it in our gas tanks (as ethanol) instead of using it for food. Agriculture turns fuel into food; "alternative energy" schemes then turn the food back into fuel. The process is inefficient and wasteful, especially when food and fuel and water are becoming scarce.

  • Gold production peaked back in 2000 along with silver and oil a few years later. Agriculture may have already peaked in terms of food production as well.

  • I actually thought that bullish sentiment was stronger than that, but regardless, Robert Prechter went public again recently saying the rally is going to collapse soon to new lows with the dollar up for a year or two. He nailed the timing of the main crash, then called a rally in February(which of course really got going in March) and has again recently stated his bearish view for risk assets, and since he's running a subscription newsletter, he must be very confident that he's right
