  • glad to be protected i think the cdn forces are great and wish all of them safe travel

  • @101andrewj My grandfather landed on Blue Beach near Puys with the Royal Regiment of Canada & was one of the lucky few who made it back to England after the raid. So not only is my knowledge of the raid based on historical research but also the priceless first hand accounts of my grandfather who was there that day. I am also former soldier (PPCLI) myself.

  • @101andrewj I clearly misinterpreted what you meant by land lost, my bad.

You're knowledge of the raid though is a little off buddy. The raid was the brain child of Lord Louis Mountbatten’s (related to the royal family) command. It was no single ambitious British General as you stated. BTW Mountbatten was an admiral with the British Royal Navy. So you couldn't be more wrong on your statement.

FYI I have a highly educated knowledge of the raid, so no need to lecture me about it.

  • @JimmyG228 the port of dieppe was not canadian land, they landed there to try and take it, and failed... and even tho the raid went very bad for the canadian troops that landed there, it was very important to the allies... american command at that time wanted to do the exact same thing with operation sledgehammer, and dieppe proved it was a very bad idea... also dieppe was not authorized by allied command, it was a single ambitious british general moving on his own, with no support

  • @101andrewj You said "Canada never lost no land, and never got beaten back from anywhere", you musta forgotten about Dieppe in 1942.

  • @TheFlapAttack canadian military support arrived in "europ" in late 1939 and by early 1940 canada had tens of thousands of men south of london with defensive lines set up, and those lines never went anywhere until the guys got into boats and crossed the channel... canada never lost no land, and never got beaten back from anywhere, they were the ones helping (in no small part) beat the nazis back to berlin... learn some history, and some english

  • We'll back the americans in any war, genocide and conquest exceptions.

  • VIVA LA CANADA...lol im not mexican XD

  • @MacWarMedia I am American I just live in Ireland. And I like Canada and I like its military. And i also think AFaryDistandMemory is a fucktard.I was just stating that all soldiers who kicked the fuck out of the germans and the germans allies all kicked the fuck out of them equally.

  • @TheFlapAttack Your not american. Your channel STATES you are from Ireland. You dumb, sad, motherfucker. Please stop dissing the Canadians for fighting for freedom, thats so immature and disrespectful. My best friends brother was killed in these conflicts.
