Here are 3 sounds I have programmed in 1986 on a CZ1000. The first and the third are "robot voices", obtained with the combination of resonnant waveforms and the ring modulator. The second is a simple sweep of the resonnant waveform by the DCW.
i remember I was fascinated by this vocoder emulation patch - though mine differed to the degree that speeded up - it produced distinct phonemes like "hey"which although robotic
@Yunneck bben a long time since I had one , but here goes... in the end, I kind of cheated.
Using a long delay on an external FX box (3 part taps worked well). When used sympathetically... it worked pretty well. If you time your playing to the rhythm of the delay... it did cover much issue up. Also, to prevent re triggering, I made big progressive patches monophonic (the CZ 1 could do that, no sure it you could for all CZ synths)
the ADSR envelopes on the CZ were and are wonderful.... think it had about eight sections in I recall.
You could make a patch that would take over 5 minutes to go through all the changes in timbre that you could make just by programming some very long times into the Envelope section.

were quite impressive back in the day.
