I went there from Jan 1 to 12, 2009, I actually stayed at Thinkers Village during my time there. At no point did I or the people I went with feel threatened, it was quite safe.

Hey im from Ireland.was wondering if it was safe to go to liberia? Grew up there as a kid and we left April 1980.Have only the vaguest memories of the place... My parents were there for 14 years or so... Just wondering is it safe in general to go over there for a holiday,sightseeing etc....?
