@kichikubrutal The current Emperor cannot at all be classified as a war criminal. Disgusting, genocidal treatment of civilians and POWs did occur but really the current Emperor's father who was on the throne at the time is generally far more removed from war crimes than such personages as Curtis LeMay or Arthur "Bomber Harris". These days Japan's military - Self-Defense Forces have been expressly forbidden by the constitution to fight aggressive wars.

The Yakuza is a crime syndicate, similar to the Mafia in the United States; it has no relation to the Emperor of Japan. The Emperor is the Head of State, the Head of Shintoism and the Representative of the people of Japana. He has the power to appoint the Prime Minister (ceremonial) and since Japan is a constitutional monarchy, he has the similar powers to the Queen of the United Kingdom.
