It's hard to support people who broke the law, wasting our tax dollars on their children, and letting them wave their country's flag over ours.

Fair would be to come here legally, and not make it harder for those who do.

@JisNUMEROuno
.you children will suffer for not having them where you can reside legally.
.
and it is stupid for any one to have children where parents have no protection.
.
it is a no, brainier, if i were illegal, i would cut my dick before i put a child in that predicament.

@KKKSuperFan
Wrong.
the weak areas are not on the border, but on you and i hiring illegals, buying or using their services, and not punishing the criminals who hire the illegals
.
.the easiest, cheapest way to reducing illegals coming in, is by not hiring them.

@PrestamosITIN
and what is wrong with that?.
.we have more than 15 000 000 people unemployed, and it is imperative that those people find a job before any illegals can be given permission to work.

Was this suppose to be a pro-comprehensive immigration reform press conference or an anti-republican rally. Well, as you celebrate the success of the election of Obama - he continues to deport more immigrants then Bush.
Since he has taken over the White House - he has deported more then 350,000 undocumented immigrants per year - including Latinos. This count doesn't include those leaving as a result of the Silent Raids.
So check yourself and review the facts.

Illegal immigrants should accept the risk that they take by entering the country illegally because it is a crime as determined by the country that they so dearly want to be a citizen of. I am a hispanic male and understand how hard it would be on a family to get deported but just because it is sad does not mean that it should not be the law. Immigrate the right way earn your citizenship the right way please regardless of how hard it is.

Now apply this same situation to immigration My family is poor and hungry from mexico. I enter the US illegally with my wife and begin working. I do not have a SS# and I do not pay income taxes like all othe americans, I work for cash and have no ability to vote or contribute to the american system. I have children While in the countyr illegally and they are citizens. If I get busted in a raid it is only my fault and my family and children will suffer because I broke the law.

the united states should not anever will close its borders to immigrants. However, when immigrants enter this country illiegally it is a crime and crimes have to be punished even when it effects the innocent. For example if my family was starving and I robbed a liquour store for money to get groceries I would be arrested and thrown in jail regardless of my family situation or how honorable my intentions were. My family would suffer for the decision that I made and the risk that I accepted.
