http://bit.ly/jMI85 6/23/09 - The St. Pete Times has published amazing insider stories from top defectors of Scientology, Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder. They talked in great detail about the physical abuse staff face from Scientoilogy's tiny leader, David Miscavige.

  • Just reading the article: Scientology: 'The Truth Rundown' from St. Petersburg Times. Wow. If those allegations about the cruelty, violence, and humiliation are true, then criminal law should be applied to the leadership of the Co$.

Secretive organisations lend themselves to the potential for abuse because fear, isolation and intimidation keeps everyone in line.

The 4 whistleblowers are brave and should be supported, because they are in for a very rough and litigous ride.

  • Do we know what Slappy "Punch-in-the-Face" Miscavige's punch & slap-tally for today is? Or has the violent little Hitler cooled off any? Info please

  • @robertmike57 And all you can say is something like that? *facepalm* I will rejoice when $cientology is canned.

  • Slappy? Like the Goosebumps dummy? WIN.

  • Hi, I eat Babies, do you?

Hi, I play poker using Babies as Poker Chips, do you?

Hi, I'm confused on this Video, are you?

Hi, it's Osama Bin Laden, you too?

  • Slappy!

  • "Who runs their empire by physically assaulting their underlings?"

Sociopaths who derive pleasure from it - and feel no guilt.

  • @TheGoalSetter

I'm jealous of David Miscavige too... I wish I got to beat the shit out of scientologists with no consequences.

    =(

  • Rinder has now left the CoS and speaking out against the organisation, though he still believes in Hubbard's 'teachings' *sigh*

Even so, he's no doubt a big loss to Scientology, and can be seen on the BBC's 'Panorama: Scientology Secrets' programme, which might be available on youtube for anyone interested. His own Scientologist family has now turned against him and are caught on tape at one point hurling abuse at him

  • Hmmm... Napolean syndrome much?
