Here is the ending credits for the public television show "Tales In A Treehouse" with Mrs Kozeny, a Linda Lavin-ish lady who would climb into her treehouse and share books with children. I saw this on South Dakota Public Television in Rapid City, SD.

The theme music sounds like something that would be performed by Stereolab or Godzooki.

  • pvx: I found out what the music is used for this show's theme! It's a piece called "Tweetee Lopez", by Don Voegeli. It was released only to CPB-funded public tv & radio stations as a 4-LP set of production music tracks composed & performed by Voegeli entitled "Oscillations 1,2,3 & 4", recorded at & released by the Univerity of Wisconsin-Extensions' Electrosonic Studio. I just found this out while perusing through the record collection at my 2nd job at a pub. radio station.....!

  • I want copies of those records! I love this music!

  • Sorry, I erased your comment by accident!

  • Oh, I loved this show but can't remember any more of it. Does anyone remember the name of a music show with Tony Salatan(?) on PBS? He played guitar & had a puppet named Poncinnelo.

  • Yes, Strawberry Square, I do remember that show as well--it was somewhat themed off of Sesame Street (if not a blatant rip-off :-) ), from what I remember...

  • No problem, it's OK. :)

I'm actually in the process of transferring those records to CD/MP3, I'll let you know when I accomplish such (there's about 5 LPs worth of material), and I'll post it up for downloading... I'm sure all the moog fanatics will love it... :)

  • does anyone remember another kids show from way back in the day...it was called straberry square or something like that???

  • hearing the music i know i saw this show...but cant remember the episodes...im not sure if i was even in school at the time lol
