Same siren as in my other video but removed new rotor bearing and replaced with a used good bearing for a longer coast time. Will remove other video in a few days.

  • Great sound. I have one made for concealed mounting - looks like an old Model 28 though longer with offset cutouts. Clean, Fresh looking. Works great but was told its siren brake may not work. Any idea what it's worth? Was hoping to get it in the grille of my Crown Vic PI but had to settle for a Timber Wolf siren there. Recently took the CVPI off the road and settled for a Whelen CenCom and Howler in my Dodge Charger.

  • From this video, I'd think the 77GB capable of better vehicle penetration than most other sirens, as the two sets of ports generate a low-frequency pulse-wave resultant, in addition to hitting a high note in the 1000 Hz ballpark at peak RPM.

  • in this one parade i went too, they had this spinning siren on their front of the truck, not even on the bumper where most grills would be on the truck it was just cool, i wish we had one that sounded like this

  • This is my ringtone. Its awesome.

  • Sorry, guys. I'm afraid these sirens are useless.....no one would hear them....Clearly they're virtually silent......uh-huh! (Sorry, honestly, it's fabulous!)

  • that is sweet. i love federal sirens. first doubletone i have heard

  • Ebay!

  • Ebay!

  • It's nice to hear that you guys are recylcing your awesome classic siren. Around these parts we've recylcled a sterling model 20, model 30 a federal 66 and a federal 28. Oh and an old B&M non coasting siren.
