Epic drama series "Genghis Khan" opening

Title: 成吉思汗

This is the opening video of the Chinese historical/epic drama series about the Mongolian emperor, Genghis Khan. The series tells the story of how he united all the nomadic tribes of Mongolia and later leading his troops to carve out the greatest land empire ever known on the Eurasian continent.

Despite most actors/actresses being ethnic Mongols, this series is a Chinese production with the credits and dialogues in Mandarin Chinese.


The original theme song to the opening video was just bland violin music with no vocals, so I decided to replace the background audio with Central Asian throat-singing music so as to make it more 'Mongol'. Enjoy!
