If you have a Mac with iLife 08, then I'd suggest downloading iMovie HD (it's free). also, Where did you get your camcorder because I can't find one and how much did it cost? I'm sorry, but I don't have any suggestions for a free movie maker for windows, I hardly ever use my PC.

damn, I hate that format. but it works in the old WMM so I ussually publish it in that and load the wmv file in the new one. I need it to work there because I want to shoot a movie with the clone effect

since the videos are in a .mov format it may not work for Windows Movie Maker, however the Aiptek camera does come with editing software when you get it.

It's pretty much exactly the same structurally except the 1080p version has even higher resolution than the 720p camcorder.
