I never understood why Manny did not just GRAB the metal detector and run! Plus, since everyone is dead and yet still alive in Grim Fandango and they have no skin, can they still have sex?

I love the german version of this conversation. Here Manny is voiced by the german voice actor of Alf and when Carla mentioned the long haired cats they of course had to put in a small reference.
