A tribute to the film 'Gladiator' made mostly using stills from the film, the music is 'Requiem for a Dream'... This is the first time I've done anything like this so don't expect great things!
EDIT: The correct title of the song is 'Lux Aeterna', it is by Clint Mansell.

@coopsacola Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and I appreciate you taking the time to watch it and offer your words of encouragement and praise. I find it so delightful to hear that this video is still bringing people pleasure, when it was made 4 years ago over the space of 10 minutes, simply out of curiosity as to whether making videos was something I could be bothered pursuing further (It wasn't).

Not really. He was born in Trujillo (Spain). In those ages, Hispania (Spain) was part of the Roman Empire and Hispanos (Spaniards) were Romans citizens like any other inside the empire. It has nothing to do with horses but maybe he loved Spanish horses because they were from his homeland :)

Hispanos Roman citizens? It's true it was a part of the Roman Empire but so was France and parts of Germany and the Netherlands, and they were deffintely not Roman citizens.

i think "Requiem for a Dream" is a good song, but why (the f*ck) [<- btw can i say that?!] didn't you use the epic gladiator soundtrack???

@basti07fantasti Hey, yeah sure you can say that. The music from Gladiator, especially 'The Battle', is fantastic, and definitely some of my favourite music. But I was just experimenting and I guess it seemed too obvious to use the music from the film, I thought I'd try using different music. (Cue comments on how 'Requiem for a Dream' is overused.)
