As for what people keep calling an "artificial scream" (which to my knowledge, it isn't possible to make a clean voice--aka singing, or yelling w/ almost no vocal distortion--sound like a real scream w/ effects...it can only be made to sound more distorted)--It sounds like the gain on his mic was turned up @ the time of recording or extra gain was added over his vocal track in the studio. There are many other parts on TIOS where you can hear him scream dry. Rest assured, Dustin is the real deal.

For all of you who think this is live, it is and it isn't. The actual song itself is not live. The beginning of the video starts out live, then it fades into the studio version from The Illusion of Safety, and finally fades back out to the live show at the end (when you hear the audience cheer).
